INTEGRITY MATTERS
Integrity Matters is an educational program to promote ethical behavior by city officials, employees, and contractors.
City officials and employees are encouraged to act with honesty and integrity in their work and to speak up if they observe or suspect unethical, fraudulent, or illegal conduct in city government. To assist them in reporting misconduct, the City has established a special 800 number called the Integrity Line. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and allows citizens and employees to report wrongdoing without fear of retaliation.
The program's message is communicated in meetings with employees and by a variety of materials:
Integrity does matter. Being honest and trustworthy in our dealings with each other and with citizens makes our City a better place to work and live.
