Come Be A Part of ATL: Atlanta Teen Leaders
| ATL: Atlanta Teen Leaders is a program sponsored by the City of Atlanta Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. This program is designed to give teens a voice. The goal is to provide teens with opportunities to engage in community service activities, develop self-esteem, and encourage self-actualization. We will do this in an exciting and fun atmosphere. Teens can also earn those much needed community service hours that go toward graduation. We have clubs located throughout the City. |

ATL is available to: All middle and high school students within the Atlanta city limits between the ages of 13 and 16. Students must have student I.D. to attend Social Events and be registered with his/her local Community Center.
Teen Clubs are Supervised by: Qualified, professional staff including, the facility manager and the teen club advisor. All social events will be supervised by The Teen Advisory Board as well as security officers.
ATL Teens Will: Be involved in numerous activities, some which are club specific and some city-wide events. Service learning projects are also a part of what we do--having fun with friends, giving back to the community, while earning much needed Service Hours toward graduation.
Our Mission Is: To provide a safe and nurturing environment, to serve the needs of Atlanta teens in becoming positive contributing citizens.
Our Goals: Provide life skills development and training that promotes life-long learning. Create a culture of respect and responsibity for self, community and environment . Empower teens to be future leaders that will affect positive change in society.
Strategies: To execute the goals and objectives of the City of Atlanta ATL program, we will collaborate with individuals, government, academic, civic, faith-based, non-profit and corporate organizations. Encourage the involvement of parents, guardians and families in program activities. Actively recruit teens from the communities in which we serve. Provide recreational, educational, cultural and social programming. Maintain systems of collaboration among fellow recreation centers.
