  • Cleopas Johnson Playground
    A gateway sculpture, The Horn Section, by Zachary Coffin, will be installed by the end of this year.  A master planning process is underway involving neighborhood residents. One of the improvements will be a new playground. Learn more...
  • Rosel Fann Boundless Playground
    The new playground is universally accessible, so all children, regardless of developmental differences, can play together. The project was completed in April of 2009.  Learn more...
  • Zaban Recreation Center
    Renovations now underway include front and basement entrances, expansion of the patio, renovation of the bathrooms, kitchen and  the arts and crafts area. Windows and door fixtures will be replaced, elevators and  a computer studio will be added. Walkways that access the building will be refurbished and integrated with old growth trees that surround the structure. The project is scheduled for completion in January of 2009.
  • Emma Millican Park
    An extensive renovation of Emma Millican Park has added junior and senior playgrounds, trail improvements, drain installation, and other amenites. Completion of all phases, including creek bank stabilization, is scheduled for 2011. Learn more...
  • Adair I
    Improvements to Adair I include an art installation, rain garden and bio-retention pond and new landscaping with  the addition of trees and shrubbery. The project will be complete in the fall of 2010.
  • Adams Park 
    Improvements to the Adams Park Rec Center will include a 1,000 sq. ft. expansion to the current structure, installation of an elevator, renovation of the existing interior offices, computer center, bathrooms, kitchen and other areas.  Improvements to meet ADA compliance for access and parking will also be undertaken.
