Phase I

We are working on the completion of two playgrounds, 1-5 yr olds, 5-12 yr olds with rubber surfacing (as shown on the right), ADA/walking trails, bridge installation to trail connectivity between neighborhood and Atlanta Tech, picnic pavilion renovated, and the project is about 90%

complete.

Phase II
Creek restoration- The intermittent creek has eroded part of a park resident's yard and has caused damage to trees and other elements of the park. AEC, Inc as been hired to design and permit a remediation program for this creek. This will take place 2010-2011.

Phase III
We have to replace 194 caliper inches of trees that were either damaged or impacted during the construction of Phase I. The recompense will include trees being planted at Perkerson Park, Adair I, Gilbert House and Pittman Park. This will take place in the Fall of 2009.
