Applicants applying for Single Room Occupancy (SRO) must also be Homeless Individuals or Homeless Individuals with HIV/AIDS.  These applicants must be able to provide homeless documentation from shelters, caseworkers etc.

The qualifications for the City of Atlanta’s are:

1. Applicant’s household income must not exceed the following 2005 Income Limits*:

1 person	$14,950.00
2 persons	$17,100.00
3 persons	$19,200.00
4 persons	$21,350.00
5 persons	$23,050.00
6 persons	$24,800.00

 *Note: The income limits are updated yearly.

2. Applicant’s family size must meet the accommodation limit.

             a. Household must not exceed 6 members.

3.  Applicant must undergo a criminal background check.

4.  Applicant must pass background check.
