ZONING REVIEW BOARD (ZRB)

Overview

The Zoning Review Board consists of nine members, appointed by the Mayor and City Council, who meet twice a month to consider property rezonings and special use permits.  The Zoning Review Board takes into consideration the recommendations of the relevant Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU) and the Bureau of Planning (BOP) staff and makes recommendations on rezonings to the Zoning Committee of City Council.

2009 Schedule - 2008 Schedule
The Zoning Review Board public hearings are held in the City Council chambers on the second floor of the Atlanta City Hall annex downtown at 55 Trinity Avenue, at 6:00 p.m. of the day indicated on the schedule.

2009 Comprehensive Development Plan public hearing schedule - This schedule is relevant for rezoning applications that require a future land use amendment.  More information can be found on our Comprehensive Development Plan page, or by reading the Zoning/Future Land Use Compatibility Table.
