 City of Atlanta Introduces 4,000 Second-grade Students to The Nutcracker 

The City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs reaches more than 250,000 students with Cultural Experience Project

 WHAT:

Through the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs’ Cultural Experience Project, more than 4,000 second-grade students from 48 APS elementary schools will attend an abridged performance of The Nutcracker by the Atlanta Ballet at no charge. Admission and transportation will be provided through the Cultural Experience Project (CEP), a project aimed at enhancing classroom learning to elementary, middle, and high school students, and provides students with experiences at no cost through the generosity of public and private funding sources.

Recently, City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs reached a major milestone, providing 250,000 Atlanta Public Schools (APS) students admission to high-end cultural field trips through its Cultural Experience Project.
