Mayor Kasim Reed Joins PulteGroup to Announce Employment Opportunities at Buckhead Headquarters
Gov. Nathan Deal and PulteGroup CEO Richard J. Dugas Jr. join Mayor Kasim Reed to announce 200 new jobs at the company’s new corporate headquarters

ATLANTA --- Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed joined PulteGroup President and CEO Richard J. Dugas Jr. and Governor Nathan Deal for an announcement today about employment opportunities at the company’s new corporate headquarters. The company will look to fill more than 200 positions at its Buckhead location.

PulteGroup will officially relocate its corporate offices to 3350 Peachtree Rd. N.E. next summer. The site, which includes 101,000 square-feet of office space in the Capital City Plaza building, will be home to more than 300 PulteGroup employees when the company completes its transition from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

"I could not be more pleased to welcome Richard J. Dugas Jr. and more than 300 PulteGroup employees to their new corporate headquarters in the City of Atlanta," said Mayor Reed. "This relocation is a prime example of our city’s continued strength as a great place for business and it will create more well-paying jobs. We have the right mix of talent, vibrant neighborhoods and a business-friendly environment that makes our city a top choice for companies ranging from international corporations to entrepreneurial start-ups. In Atlanta, PulteGroup will be right at home.”

“I am honored to be here today with Governor Deal, Mayor Reed and the many other local officials who were instrumental in making Atlanta the top choice for our new home” Dugas said. “PulteGroup has been building homes in Atlanta for more than 40 years, so we truly appreciate the warm reception and know that Atlanta will give us invaluable access to our communities and customers in the future. The area’s amenities and access to a talented and growing workforce makes Atlanta the right choice for us.”

Those interested in employment opportunities can visit for more information or follow the company on Twitter for updates @PulteGroupNews. A variety of opportunities will become available in the fields of accounting, finance, purchasing, information technology, human resources and administration.

“Today we are celebrating not only PulteGroup’s move to Georgia, but the growing market for its products,” said Governor Deal. “PulteGroup’s bold investment in its future is a striking statement about the outlook for the homebuilding industry, and a testimonial to Georgia’s reputation as a business-focused state.”

“A corporate headquarters relocation of this magnitude is rare and fantastic news for the city of Atlanta, especially the arrival of a company that is a regular on the Fortune 500 list,” said Brian P. McGowan, President and CEO of Invest Atlanta. “As PulteGroup ramps up operations in our city, it will create new jobs for our residents, grow our tax base and support existing small businesses. This was a tough competition, but PulteGroup chose Atlanta over other major U.S. cities because we consistently demonstrate our commitment to sustaining business investment and we attract top talent from all over the world.”
