Mayor Kasim Reed to Celebrate Relay’s Bike Share Program
City of Atlanta bike share system unveils major expansion

Mayor Kasim Reed and city officials will join Georgia’s Own Credit Union
and the city’s bike share operator, Cyclehop, to celebrate the expansion of the Relay bike share program. The program will expand from 100 bikes at 22 stations to 500 bikes at 65 locations in neighborhoods across the city, and comes less than a year after the launch of the program.
Residents are encouraged to attend the community event which will include a formal program, food trucks, giveaways and interactive games for children. In addition, city officials, business leaders and residents will conduct an inaugural 3-mile bike ride in Piedmont Park, on the Atlanta BeltLine and through the Virginia-Highland community.
V-103 radio personality Frank Ski will serve as the emcee for the event.
