 City of Atlanta Statement on Georgia Department of Tranportation Decision regarding Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprises

ATLANTA – On December 20, 2012 the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) released its findings that four businesses winning concessions bids at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport did in-fact qualify as Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (ACDBE) under federal law.

The city was not a party to the GDOT proceedings, but has fully cooperated with the Federal Aviation Administration and GDOT during the investigation of the firms in question, and will continue to do so
