City of Atlanta Opens Additional Warming Shelter

ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta announced today that it will open an additional emergency overflow warming shelter at Rosel Fann Recreation Center located at 365 Cleveland Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA, 30354.

 The Old Adamsville Recreation Center is currently open as an emergency shelter and will continue to remain open until further notice.

 Anyone needing shelter is urged to go to one of the city’s two emergency overflow warming centers.

Residents are also encouraged to sign up for NotifyATL at www.atlantaga.gov/notfiyatl to receive alerts on emergencies and critical information on severe weather, unexpected road closures, and other alerts.
