Electricity Use in City Facilities

Each year, the City of Atlanta spends approximately $21 million for electricity.  In an effort to effectively manage this energy use and reduce energy costs, the Electricity Tracking Pilot Project focuses on four of these facilities that cost the City of Atlanta more than $2 million from the General Fund in 2002 for electricity alone:

  • City Hall
  • City Hall East
  • The Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center
  • The City Detention Center

New Facilities Added!

We have added facilities from every department to the Electricity Tracking Pilot Project.

Click here to view information on how much electricity your facility used compared to the same month, last year.  Also, keep an eye out for your facility to appear on City of Atlanta Cable Channel 26.
