Any applicant wishing to use an outdoor facility in a Park, such as a pavilion, as a part of larger Outdoor Event must file a Park Facilities Application in addition to the appropriate Outdoor Event Application (i.e. Assemblies Application, or Outdoor Festival Application.)
Reservations are taken on a first- come, first served basis. Reservations cannot be made earlier than 3 months prior to the event, or later than 14 days before the event. Applications can be turned in to the Mayor's Office of Special Events or the Office of Parks.
You do not require a permit from the Mayor's Office of Special Events if you are planning an event on the following Pubic properties:
- Chastain Amphitheater

A completed applicable applications for reservation of a Park Facility should be mailed or faxed no less than 14 days prior to the start date of the event.
