Mayor Shirley Franklin and Keep Atlanta Beautiful remind Atlantans to “Bring One for the Chipper” and recycle your Christmas tree. The old trees will be reused as mulch or wildlife habitat.
Atlanta residents may take their undecorated tree on Saturday, January 3rd from 9 am til 4 pm to either the Home Depot store located at 650 Ponce de Leon or the Home Depot located at 815 Sidney Marcus Blvd. As a thank you, tree donors will receive a tree seedling that can be replanted, while supplies last.
