After 10 years of successfully hosting the Mayor’s Cup golf tournament fundraiser, this year Mayor Shirley Franklin and the City of Atlanta are proud to present the Mayor’s Bowl: Strike for Camp Best Friends at upscale Ten Pin Alley in Atlantic Station on Tuesday, September 25th from 7:00 pm-1:00 am.
The evening begins with a private reception for sponsors and hosts before opening to the public. All guests will enjoy an open bar and mouth-watering hors d’oeurves from Chef Don Diem. This promises to be an exciting evening featuring not just bowling, but billiards, a silent auction that includes a custom Monica Tookes painting, with special guests like Chauncey Davis of the Atlanta Falcons, and much more.
Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorship of the Mayor’s Bowl and Silent Auction benefit Camp Best Friends. Since its inception, Mayor’s fundraisers have contributed more than $1 million to the Camp Best Friends endowment fund! Camp Best Friends provides educational, recreational and cultural programs during the summer months for young children in a safe, inclusive environment.
Your participation and continued support allows the City of Atlanta to permanently endow the future of Camp Best Friends, thus ensuring the future of our great city.
