WHAT:

 

The fountains at the Chattahoochee Water Treatment Plant that have been out of service for many years, have been renovated and restored.

 

Mayor Shirley Franklin and Commissioner Robert Hunter of the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management will formally re-commission the fountains at this event to symbolize the ongoing efforts to renew and repair the City's drinking water system

 

PHOTO-OP: Mayor Franklin will press a button to ceremonially turn on the fountains.

Directions from downtown

Take I-75 North;

Take Exit 254 - Moores Mill Road

Turn right onto Moores Mill Road and go 1.7 miles

Turn right onto Bolton Road and then turn right into the main gate.

Make an immediate right turn into the Chattahoochee Drinking Water Complex.
