Mayor Shirley Franklin and Monks of the Monastery of the Holy Spirit will celebrate the acquisition of a 137-acre conservation easement by the City of Atlanta Greenway Acquisition Project at the confluence of Honey Creek and South River. The greenway, which will be managed and protected in perpetuity by the monastery, will help prevent non-point source pollution of the river and the creek. |
