Home and Garden Television (HGTV) has selected the City of Atlanta and the Ron Clark Academy to participate in a nationwide contest, and your vote can help us win!
The campaign is called "Change the World. Start at Home." Cities from all over the nation submitted one community project that they would like to see happen in their city. HGTV narrowed it down to 10 projects in 10 different cities. Atlanta was chosen for its revitalization project around the Ron Clark Academy in Southeast Atlanta.
If Atlanta is chosen, HGTV will help the Ron Clark Academy build a greenhouse on their campus for their students to learn about growing organic produce. In addition, one of Southeast Atlanta’s residents will receive assistance to renovate her home.
Please support the City of Atlanta and the Ron Clark Academy by casting your vote today. You can vote up to one time per day by clicking the VOTE NOW link on the top right corner of the Ron Clark Academy website at www.ronclarkacademy.com or by visiting www.hgtv.com/changetheworld.
Voting ends on December 21st and the winners will be announced during the Rose Bowl on January 1, 2008!
Other collaborative partners include: Rebuilding Together and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
