WHAT:

Annual Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade

 

WHEN:

Saturday, December 4, 2004

Time: 10:15 AM to 12:30 PM

 

WHERE:

Peachtree Street and West Peachtree Street and traveling south on Peachtree Street, West onto Marietta Street and terminates at the disband area on Centennial Olympic Park Place between Marietta Street and M.L. King Jr. Drive.

 

NOTES:

Travelers should anticipate traffic delays in the downtown and midtown areas along the Peachtree corridor between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM due to the parade route closure, occupation of the parade assembly area, and the disband area at Centennial Olympic Park.  East – West crossing of Peachtree Street and West Peachtree Street will be restricted during this time frame.    

 

The following Street Restrictions will be in effect between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on December 4, 2004:

 

·           Peachtree Street from Ralph McGill to Wall Street.

·           Forsyth Street from M.L. King to Carnegie Way.

·           Spring Street from M.L. King to Marietta Street.

·           Marietta Street from Pryor Street to Baker Street.

·           Centennial Olympic Park Place between International Blvd. and M.L. King.

 

Those attending the parade need to avoid parking where “Emergency No Parking” Signs are posted.  Officers will be ticketing illegally parked vehicles.
