Hosea Williams Streetscape Phase I Groundbreaking Ceremony

The City of Atlanta Department of Public Works has begun implementing community improvement projects throughout the City as part of the Quality of Life Bond Program.

The streetscape improvements will begin this month along Hosea Williams Drive, from Doyle Street to Kirkwood Road.  The project will include the replacement of sidewalks and curbs, the installation of painted crosswalks, street lights, trees and specialty paving.

Atlanta City Councilmember Natalyn Archibong, City of Atlanta Department of Public Works Commissioner, David E. Scott, Neighborhood Planning Unit O residents, and the Kirkwood community will commemorate the beginning of the project at a groundbreaking ceremony.
