Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Niskey Lake Road Unpaved Street Project located in Atlanta City Council District 11, Neighborhood Planning Unit – P.

Intersection of Butner Road and Niskey Lake Road

 

NOTES:

We are pleased to announce the completion of the Niskey Lake Road Pavement Improvement Project!  Niskey Lake Road is one of several unpaved streets paved as part of the $150M Quality of Life Bond Program.

 

In August 2007, the City of Atlanta Department of Public Works began installing roadway improvements along Niskey Lake Road from Butner Road to the dead end.   The scope of this project included grading, base preparation for the road, paving with asphalt, manhole adjustment, miscellaneous demolition and removals, earthwork, storm sewer systems, curb and gutter, striping and signage, and landscaping. 

 

Please join the Department of Public Works, Jim Maddox-Atlanta City Council District 11 Representative, and the community leaders of Neighborhood Planning Unit P as we commemorate the completion of this project!
