The City of Atlanta today received three proposals responding to its recent RFP for the Sale and Redevelopment of City Hall East. The three respondents are the following:
- Chess Partners, LLC
- Ponce Park, LLC
- The Phoenix Team
The City will initiate its review of these proposals immediately and plans to complete the procurement evaluation review process by late spring/early summer. In addition to performing financial and operational analyses, the City will confer with City Council members, neighborhood representatives and other external experts to solicit advice and feedback on the development concepts contained in the proposals.
The City is pleased with the level of interest in this property on the part of the development community. The redevelopment of City Hall East has the potential to be one of the largest efforts of this type in the country and could accelerate the development underway in the Ponce De Leon corridor. The City is hopeful that a plan can be developed that will advance the City’s overall developmental, financial and operational objectives.
