Pryor Street Closure South of Garnett Street
From March 13, 2004 until July 1, 2004, the City of Atlanta will prohibit vehicular access on Pryor Street from Garnett Street to Memorial Drive to allow for the construction of an under-street passageway for use by the courts. However, vehicular access will be permitted on Pryor Street from Trinity Avenue to Garnett Street.

Continue on one open lane past barricade at Trinity Avenue through to Garnett Street which runs east and west at the point where Pryor Street will be closed to all traffic.
Traffic bound to I-75/85 or I-20 East bound upon reaching Garnett Street
· Left (east) on Garnett Street
· Left (east) on Memorial Drive to Washington
Street
· Follow signs to I-75/85 or I-20 East bound.
Traffic bound south on Pryor Street or I-20 West bound upon reaching Garnett Street
· Right (west) on Garnett Street
· Left (south) on Peachtree Street
· Left (east) on Memorial Drive
· Right (south) to left (south) back on Pryor Street
· Follow signs to I-20 west bound.
Limited two way Emergency, Corrections Department, and Traffic Court authorized personnel and construction vehicle access to Pryor Street will be maintained at Memorial Drive.

Announcement of New Facilities
Atlanta Public Schools Administration Building, in the Fall of 2003 relocated the main office from Pryor Street at the corner of Trinity Avenue to Trinity Avenue at the corner of Central Avenue.
· The visitor entrance is located at 130 Trinity
Avenue and general visitor parking will remain the same.
· Delivery entrance is off Garnett Street.
· Authorized personnel entrances are on Central
Avenue or from parking deck. Authorized personnel
parking entrance and exits are located on Pryor
Street and Garnett Street near corner of Pryor
Street and Garnett Street

City of Atlanta Traffic Court in January of 2004 relocated all Traffic Court operations.
· Solicitor's offices from Trinity Avenue and Central
Avenue buildings to 150 Garnett Street at the corner
of Garnett Street and Pryor Street east of existing
City of Atlanta Municipal Court at 170 Garnett Street.
· The visitor entrance is located at 150 Garnett Street,
which is located at the south east corner of the
intersection of Garnett Street and Pryor Street.
· Private operated parking for visitors is available at
near by surface parking lots along Pryor Street,
Peachtree Street and other adjacent streets.
· Handicap parking and access to the building is
located south of the building off Pryor Street.
· The authorized personnel entrance is from the
parking area to the south of the building, off
Pryor Street.
· The delivery entrance is off Central Avenue.
· The Public Defender's Office will maintain a
satellite office in the new court building located
at 150 Garnett Street with the primary office to
remain at 41 Marietta Street Suite 1200.
