WHAT: |
The City of Atlanta Department of Public Works is proud to announce that we are continuing with implementing community improvement projects throughout the City as part of the $150M Quality of Life Bond Program. This program includes new sidewalks, street resurfacing, plazas & greenspace, as well as traffic control devices. These funds are being augmented with Empowerment Zone/Enterprise Renewal funds to construct the Pryor Road Streetscape Improvement Project.
Mid May 2007, we will begin streetscape improvements along Pryor Road, between The Railroad bridge (south of University Avenue) to Pryor Circle/Ashwood Avenue, approximately 1.1 miles. This project will include the the addition of new sidewalks and granite curbing, pedestrian lights, benches, brick accents, trash receptacles, and lighting.
