Cascade Road Streetscape Phase I
Groundbreaking Ceremony

Councilmember Jim Maddox, 
Commissioner David E. Scott,
Reverend Dr. Barbara L. King and
Community leaders of Neighborhood Planning
Unit R, Audubon Forrest, and
Adamsville neighborhoods.

WHAT:

 

Groundbreaking Ceremony – The City of Atlanta
Department of Public Works is proud to announce
the Cascade Road Streetscape Phase I
Community Improvement Project as part of the
City’s Quality of Life Bond Program.

The City will begin installing new sidewalks,
crosswalks and pedestrian lighting along Cascade
Road, SW from Willis Mill to Venetian Drive. These
additions to the neighborhood will serve to enhance
pedestrian safety, while also improving the
appearance of the community. The project is
scheduled to be completed February 2005 city
officials said.
