The City of Atlanta “Traffic Court” will offer an Amnesty Program to those with unpaid parking and regular traffic tickets. The five-day program will begin Monday, August 2, 2004 and end Saturday, August 7, 2004. The court will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 7, 2004.
The court is located at 150 Garnett Street SW. There is limited parking, however the Garnett Street MARTA station is close by.
If you have an outstanding ticket, at the option of the judge, additional “failure to appear” fines may also be waived.
Following the Amnesty Program, the court will turn over responsibility for collection of all unpaid fines to a collection agency. To avoid any additional collection charges, individuals should make use of the amnesty program. The Court staff encourages those interested to come early and avoid possible long lines.
