Greg Pridgeon the City of Atlanta’s Chief of Staff recently hired Joe Morris, III and Viren Mayani.
Joe Morris, III was recently promoted to City of Atlanta Deputy Chief of Staff. Morris has worked in the Mayor’s Office since 2002 in several different roles. He was most recently the Telecommunications Manager, where he was responsible for managing the franchise agreement with Comcast and the City of Atlanta. During the current administration, he has served in the Chief operating Office and the Office of Constituent Services. Prior to joining the City of Atlanta, Morris was a Senior Assistant Public Defender for the Atlanta City Court. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College and a juris doctor from North Carolina Central University.
Prior to joining the City of Atlanta, Viren Mayani was the Chief Operating Officer of Creative Loafing Network, Inc. and he was Chief Financial Officer at Eclipse Computer Systems, Inc. He holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Bombay and a master’s of business administration from the University of Scranton.
