Anyone receiving a City of Atlanta parking or moving violation can now pay that fine on-line using a secure website that will accept debit, MasterCard or VISA credit cards.
"Government on-line payments are a well-established, efficient and secure way for individuals and businesses to make payments. The benefits are faster posting of funds to customer accounts, a reduction in use of paper from mail processing and an increase in convenience to the customers" remarked Mayor Shirley Franklin.
"We are rapidly moving to provide on-line features that allow residents greater access to our services," said Abe Kani, the City's chief information officer. "Our strategies are evolving and we look forward to expanding services to meet those changing needs."
Fees can be made at the City of Atlanta website, www.atlantaga.gov . Customers should refer to the online services link and choose either parking payments or moving violation payments. Individuals must have the ticket or citation number in order to pay the ticket online
