City offerS online
water/sewer bill payment capability

On Wednesday, June 22, the City of Atlanta began offering online payment capability to make it easier for customers to pay their water/sewer bills. The secure, easy-to-use system will be accessible by visiting the City’s website, www.atlantaga.gov, and clicking on “Online Services.”  The system requires customers to create user names and passwords.

“We are working to make the public’s customer service experience a positive one,” says Watershed Commissioner Rob Hunter. “This is one step in an ongoing program of customer service improvement.”

The initiative is the latest in a series of efforts to make paying water/sewer bills easier for the City’s customers. The City also has instituted monthly (rather than bi-monthly) billing, extended customer service hours, and offered telephone payment options. By July, the City, partnering with Fidelity Express, will have established some 20 remote payment locations around the City. It also is installing payment kiosks in City Hall and at the North and South Fulton government annexes.
