Mayor announces formation of the Piedmont Park North Woods  Expansion Master Plan Task Force

Mayor Shirley Franklin today announced the formation of the North Woods Expansion Master Plan Task Force.  The task force comprised of 11 individuals charged with reviewing the preliminary master plan developed over the past year by a community advisory group, consultants and city staff for the North Woods of Piedmont Park.

The task force will review traffic, parking, transportation strategies and plans to accommodate the transportation and mobility needs of both Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens while promoting cultural and educational opportunities for Atlanta  residents and visitors.
