The City of Atlanta hosts its 2006 Women's History Month Celebration


Tickets are going fast for the City’s annual Women's History Month Luncheon! The 2006 Luncheon, award ceremony and health seminar will happen on March 10 at the Omni Hotel CNN Center. This year’s keynote speaker is Gwendolyn Boyd. Ms. Boyd is the first African American woman to graduate from Yale University School of Engineering in 1979. Ms. Boyd is also the former national president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

This year the City of Atlanta will honor women in government who have helped to shape their communities. Tickets for the event are $30.00 and include lunch.
