Atlanta Fire Department and Pike Family Nurseries Give Free Christmas Trees to those in Need
Atlanta - Christmas is the season for giving and the Atlanta Fire Department has teamed up with Pike Family Nurseries to give free Christmas trees to the citizens of Atlanta. Beginning Tuesday December 23, 2003, free Christmas trees will be available to those in need at the following City of Atlanta Fire Stations:
AFD. # 2 - 1568 Jonesboro Road, S.E.
AFD # 4 - 309 Edgewood Ave.
AFD # 10 - 447 Boulevard, S.E.
AFD # 16 - 1048 Simpson Street, N.W.
AFD # 18 - 2007 Oakview Road, S.E.
AFD # 30 - 10 Cleveland Ave, S.W.
AFD # 38 - 2911 Bankhead Highway, N.W.
Christmas Trees will also be available at the Atlanta Civic Center Parking Lot, located at 395 Piedmont Avenue.
Free trees will be available tomorrow, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Christmas Eve from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the above stated locations.
