City of Atlanta to Inaugurate Keisha Lance Bottoms as 60th Mayor of Atlanta

Ceremony to include inauguration of new Atlanta City Council President, Councilmembers and Municipal Court Judges

WHAT:

The inauguration ceremony and swearing-in for Mayor-Elect Keisha Lance Bottoms, Atlanta City Council President-Elect Felicia Moore and Atlanta City Councilmembers-Elect will be held at the King International Chapel at Morehouse College on Tuesday, January 2 at 1:00 p.m.

WHEN:

Tuesday, January 2, 2018
1:00 p.m.

Media using equipment to photograph, broadcast or record must report by 8:00 a.m. for security sweep.

 MEDIA INSTRUCTIONS:
Media must RSVP by Friday, December 29 to atlmedia@atlantaga.gov. Media credentials are limited to two per outlet and not all requests can be accommodated.

All media should arrive on the Lee Street side of Morehouse College. Enter the campus from Westview Drive. The media parking pass check-in table will be located on the right of the traffic circle on Westview Drive. Media outlets must stop, check in, and pick up their parking passes. Media will then be directed to the media parking location.

Media credentials will be distributed from the media table inside the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel. All media must have a Morehouse College Press Credential while they are on campus. Following the event, media should return their Morehouse College Press Credential to staff working the media table in King Chapel.
