Mayor Kasim Reed will unveil the plans for the future Westside Park and reservoir at Bellwood Quarry. Once completed, the approximately 280-acre greenspace will be the largest park in the City of Atlanta, surpassing the 185-acre Piedmont Park. The reservoir will divert more than 2 billion gallons of water to the site, which will hold a 30-day supply of emergency drinking water for the City.
