City of Atlanta Announces Holiday Schedule for the Atlanta Streetcar
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta announced today that the Atlanta Streetcar will run modified schedules for the New Year’s holidays.
There will be no Atlanta Streetcar service on Saturday, December 30, or Sunday, December 31, due to set-up preparations for the Peach Drop on New Year’s Eve at Woodruff Park. Service for the Atlanta Streetcar will resume at 10:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1, 2018.
More than 1.5 million people have used the Atlanta Streetcar to visit restaurants, shops and Atlanta’s world-class tourist destinations, including the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center and Historic Site, the Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Georgia Aquarium and the College Football Hall of Fame. All Atlanta residents are invited to make the Streetcar part of their holiday plans.
