Mayor-Elect Keisha Lance Bottoms Interfaith Worship Service, Social Media Roundtable and Citizen’s Reception on January 2, 2018

Inaugural Interfaith Worship Service

WHAT:

Mayor-Elect Keisha Lance Bottoms will speak at the Inaugural Interfaith Worship Service. The service will celebrate Mayor-Elect Bottoms’ inauguration through prayer, readings and song.

Inaugural Ceremonies

WHAT:

Mayor-Elect Keisha Lance Bottoms will take the oath of office to become the 60th Mayor of the City of Atlanta. The Atlanta City Council President, Atlanta City Councilmembers and Atlanta Municipal Court Judges will also take the oath of office.

Following the inauguration ceremony, Mayor Bottoms will host a special media availability for digital and social media outlets. This event is designated for non-traditional media outlets.

Inaugural Community Service Project

WHAT:

In her first community service project as Mayor, please join Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms in donating school supplies and backpacks for Atlanta Public Schools teachers and students. Donations will help ensure every child has what she or he needs to learn and succeed in the classroom throughout the year. Donations may be dropped off in the City Hall atrium from January 3-8.
