Extended hours will provide customers flexibility in reporting non-emergency issues

ATLANTA - The City of Atlanta announced today that ATL311 has extended their hours of operation.  Starting immediately, residents will be able to call ATL 311 Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

“I am pleased to announce that ATL311 will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on weekdays. We understand that some of our customers have demanding schedules and these extended hours will give our customers the flexibility to reach us in the evening,” said Rocky Atkins, Executive Director of Customer Service.

ATL311 handles on average approximately 34,000 calls per month. About 80 percent of service calls are related to Public Works and Watershed topics such as water leaks, potholes, trash collection and recycling.

ATL311 provides Atlanta residents, visitors and business owners with fast, easy access to information and non-emergency services by dialing “3-1-1” or 404-546-0311, or by visiting their website at ATL311.com.
