Statement from Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on School Shooting in Parkland, Florida
ATLANTA – “I am saddened by the tragic and senseless attack today at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, that took innocent lives and injured many more.
Although authorities have not released many details, early reports have already described the heroism and bravery of the first responders and the teachers and staff who acted to protect students.
I am thankful to all of those who acted with courage and compassion, and I am holding all of those affected by this act of violence in my heart and prayers.”
