 The City of Atlanta to Launch Urban Ecology Framework Study 

WHO:

Tim Keane, Commissioner, Department of City Planning

Heather Alhadeff, Director of Special Projects & Initiatives, Department of City Planning

WHAT:

The Department of City Planning will conduct a study to determine what aspects of nature should be protected, restored and enhanced throughout the City of Atlanta.  Complementing the Atlanta City Design, the study will result in a comprehensive plan that highlights how to preserve Atlanta’s unique natural resources as our population grows and to establish a citywide ecological framework that supports healthy environments for people and wildlife.
