City of Atlanta Extends Business License Payment Deadline
All business license fees must be paid by Friday, April 20, 2018
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta today announced that businesses will have until April 20, 2018 to pay their business license fees without penalty. Once full payment is posted, an official business license will be mailed to the address of record within 3-5 business days.
The City of Atlanta experienced a ransomware cyberattack on Thursday, March 22 that affected multiple applications and client devices.
Business license operations are impacted in the following ways:
- The online payment and license renewal platforms are inaccessible;
- The portal used to create an electronic version of a business license is inaccessible.
