Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to Recognize Participants in Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge

WHAT:

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms will recognize participants in the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge. The Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge recognizes participant buildings that have achieved an energy or water savings of at least 20%--these buildings are the “top performers.”
In 2011, Atlanta launched its voluntary energy efficiency challenge for commercial buildings, the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge (ABBC), in which participants and top-performing properties commit to water and energy efficiency. Some key program participants include Georgia Tech, Spelman College, Georgia State, GSA, CDC, Emory University, UPS, AMLI Residential, Fulton County Schools and the City of Atlanta.
