Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms Reacts to Finance and Executive Committee’s Decision Regarding the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Legislation
ATLANTA- Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms issued the following statement:
“Our Administration has been doing the hard work of ensuring everyone in Atlanta feels represented through our Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion,” said Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. “Through the work of this office, we have been able to ensure that our residents and businesses not only survive the global COVID-19 pandemic but also thrive. Thank you to Councilmembers Carla Smith and Andre Dickens for their leadership on this legislation and to all members of City Council for safeguarding the important work of this office for years to come.”
