City of Atlanta to Open Cooling Center to Help Residents Combat the Heat
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta will open a cooling center as temperatures rise across the city. The center will open today, August 6, 2023, through Monday, August 7, 2023, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. daily. The cooling center will be located at the Selena Butler Facility located at 98 William Holmes Borders Senior Drive SE, Atlanta, GA 30312.
