City of Atlanta to Open Cooling Center to Help Residents Combat the Heat
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta will open a cooling center as temperatures rise across the city. The cooling center will be located at a new location at the Selena S. Butler Facility located at 98 William Holmes Borders Senior Dr SE Atlanta, GA 30312. Water will be provided at the center.
The center will also open on the following days:
Friday, July 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday, July 31, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
