Mayor Dickens to Launch New Phase of “Light Up the Night” Citywide Lighting Installation

WHAT: |
Mayor Andre Dickens will launch the next phase of the “Light Up the Night” citywide streetlight installation and repair initiative. Mayor Dickens and Georgia Power CEO Kim Green will also discuss progress and impact of the “Light Up the Night” project. The event kicks off installation and upgrades of 20,000 lights throughout the city of Atlanta, beginning with the Old Adamsville neighborhood. This supplements the more than 10,000 LED lights installed, repaired, and upgraded by Georgia Power in the initial phases of the “Light of the Night” initiative.
