City of Atlanta Announces Modified Solid Waste Schedule on Memorial Day
All solid waste services will be delayed one day throughout the holiday week
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta announced that in observance of Memorial Day, the Department of Public Works Office of Solid Waste Services will not collect garbage, recycling, yard trimmings or bulk items on Monday, May 27, 2024. Customers whose regular collection day is Friday, May 31, will be serviced on Saturday, June 1.
Those in need of additional assistance can contact the City of Atlanta by dialing 3-1-1 (inside Atlanta City limits) or 404-546-0311. They may also download the Atlanta Solid Waste Services mobile app or visit www.atlantaga.gov/solidwaste to find their collection schedule.
