City of Atlanta Announces Modified Solid Waste Collection Schedule on Independence Day
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta has modified its solid waste collection schedule for Independence Day. In observance of the holiday, the Department of Public Works Office of Solid Waste Services will not collect garbage, recycling, yard trimmings or bulk items on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Collections for Thursday and Friday will be delayed by one day during the holiday week.
Residents whose regular service day is Friday should place carts curbside by 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, July 8, 2024.
