Mayor Andre Dickens, Councilmember Jason Winston, the Department of Parks and Recreation and The Conservation Fund will celebrate the opening of Red’s Farm Preserve, the city’s first urban farm. Honoring the legacy Farmer Red (Brian Harrison), this vibrant greenspace reflects a commitment to community-led conservation and sustainable agriculture. Red’s vision and dedication have created a lasting sanctuary where neighbors can grow, gather and learn for generations to come.
