WHAT:

Mayor Andre Dickens will host the ribbon cutting for Oakland Cemetery’s new Visitor’s Center. The new Visitor Center is a project two decades in the making and was made possible through the partnership of the Historic Oakland Foundation, the Department of Parks and Recreation, and Invest Atlanta, providing a welcoming space for visitors and the community.
The new facility features a 0.75-acre neighborhood park, 50 new trees, a Visitor Center and store, event and classroom spaces, and rentable meeting rooms.
