City of Atlanta to Open Cooling Center to Help Residents Combat the Heat
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta will be opening a cooling center today, Monday, August 18, 2025, as temperatures begin to rise across the city.
The cooling center will be located at Selena S. Butler Park, located at 98 William Holmes Borders Senior Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30312 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Bottled water will be provided in the cooling center.
